So a Roseburg radiologist, Dr. Diwaker Agarwal, that is on staff at Mercy Medical Center got a warning for “soliciting” prostitution. Why not an arrest for such criminal activity? Solicitation in Oregon is Class A Misdemeanor and is punishable with jail time and fines. Guess the rich doctor has connections?

Kelly Morgan, CEO of CHI Mercy Health said “We are very troubled by these allegations, as they are in stark contrast to the mission and core values of our organizations,” according to the local newspaper. Hah! From the stories I have heard from ex-staff and patients, there is a lot of hanky-panky going on at Mercy between doctors, nurses, and other staff.

I also had a patient report yesterday that a friend of theirs was in Mercy and one of their doctors came in, pulled up her gown, and groped her breasts while supposedly doing an “exam.” She wanted the number to the Oregon Medical Board so they could file a complaint. It was witnessed by not just the patient. We gave her the number.

How about a complaint to the medical board about Dr. Agarwal for unprofessional conduct? The board will likely let him “skate” on that one since it was only a “warning.”

Another lapse in judgment for Mercy medical staff?
