“No Mercy” and “No Dignity” (great nicknames for a hospital!) now has “No Spirit” too
CHI Mercy Medical Center of Roseburg has long been known by many of the locals as a place for “no mercy” when it comes to medical treatment. Then they merged with Dignity Health and that added the “no dignity” part. Letters written to the CEO’s of both CHI (Keven Lofton) and Dignity Health (Lloyd Dean) went unaswered, so it’s really not much of a stretch to imagine that nothing will change in regards to care, only more of a focus on squeezing every single dollar out of Douglas County and sending it out of state where there headquarters are located. Its funny they call their services “ministries” when they really pass that collection plate!
